| Tragical-comical story about unusual people in a remote village in Prekmurje in the time when rock ¡¯n¡¯roll was
appearing. Breza, a young country fellow wants to perform in public festivities with his electric guitar. He is not very
successful as his competition is the traditional gipsy band that performs ethnic popular music. He manages to
conquer the heart of the village belle Silvija, though. Silvija is the daughter of a wealthy migrant in Switzerland, who
sent his daughter back home to find a husband with healthy roots. This, however, is just the beginning of a story in
which the real protagonist is actually Düplin, a weird newcomer. |
