| * Music Short On Track |
| |
This year JIMFF will present a richer program in the¡® Music Shorts on Track¡¯section which had its first showcase last year with rave response
from the public. The number of foreign shorts has increased from six to thirteen, providing a greater opportunity to understand the general trends
in world music shorts. Especially this year shows a substantial focus on Jazz, the relationship between humans, religion and music. As for the
eleven Korean shorts selected for this year, drama and comedies partially adopting musical traits as opposed to full-fledged musicals and music films show a strong presence in its line-up. Socially conscious works including a piece on senior citizens living alone also stands out in this year¡¯s selection. So meet with the 24 music shorts of various genres and themes, all inspired by extraordinary creativity and fresh new ideas.
