Cine Symphony
The ‘Cine Symphony’ section presents world cinema now through acclaimed new features that address the diverse ways of life in the world. Original works from contemporary filmmakers highlight the meaning of film as ‘a window to the world.’

Theme and Variations
From the vibrant and colorful world of music, a specific theme will inspire a selection of feature films and documentaries addressing a perspective on music from a specialist’s standpoint. A section for music maniacs and audiences who desire a deeper understanding of music.

Film Music Retrospective
A section that goes beyond the general perception of film music as simply a functional element in film, by reviving the historical value of film music and reconfirming the artistic spirit of film music directors who have been longtime companions to film.

Family Fest
A popular and festive section which encourages all to share and to enjoy regardless of generation, differences or boundaries through various lively works.

Special Programs

Cinema Concert
Live music concerts accompanying the screenings of silent films. A revival of the classic movie theater experience when silent films were presented in conjunction with a live orchestra, here, attendees can watch films against the backdrop of beautiful Cheongpung Lake.

Film Music Masterclass
An educational program specializing in film music. The Masterclass provides an opportunity to absorb the experience and expertise of talented music directors currently working in the film industry.

JFMA: Jecheon Film Music Awards
An awards program to honor the accomplishments of film musicians who have had significant influence on the film and music culture of Korea. This program will provide a long overdue opportunity to recognize and to rediscover Korea’s film music history.

One Summer Night
An independent music program of JIMFF, ‘One Summer Night’ is a concert set on the outdoor stage at Cheongpung Lake. An entertaining celebration for all, not just for film or music fans.
